The Selkirk St. Andrews St. Clements Library Foundation has been given a Strategy to follow by the Red River North Regional Library Board which is to create a Centre of Knowledge that leads our communities into the future through the following:

• reflects the heritage and character of our communities
• adopts new technologies
• expands collection and programming
• increases membership and circulation
• provides positive working environment
• sets the standard of excellence for other libraries
  

Libraries enhance literacy, provide access to technology, and make our communities better places to live. Putting together all of those resources means that the end result - our new Library will be bigger and stronger than if we simply relied on public resources.

The Selkirk St. Andrews St. Clements Library Foundation is guided by the Vision, Mission and Driving Force of the Selkirk St. Andrews Regional Library Board:

To provide a welcoming place for reading and resources for lifelong learning, enabling all members of our communities to reach their full potential.

Mission
The Selkirk St. Andrews Regional Library is dedicated to providing access to information and resources with a high level of competence. The library creates an inclusive environment that respects and is responsible to all members of our communities.

Driving Force
Our Driving Force is to address the needs of our Communities in the pursuit of a life long learning Strategy.
